e-Portfolios

My latest article regards the ease and utility of a course e-Portfolio assignment.  The advantages of e-Portfolios are numerous---lasting, large capacity, easy to maintain.  Often the use of Web 2.0 sites is a free and simple way to create either a course or review student assessment portfolio.  At Ashland University, our department (Journalism and Digital Media) is developing a plan to use e-Portfolios as yearly student evaluation criteria.  We hope to use this tool to assist the growth and development of our majors and our minors.
